A mini golf course becomes an analogy with a social analysis. Reflecting the conservatism of the 1950s, “Ascona” shows protagonists who recount the beginnings and difficulties of the field and sport between recreational fun and high-level sports with dry humor from Northern Germany and representing a cross-section of society.
