E’ la storia del fan club fondato negli anni ’70 dai tifosi omosessuali del Grêmio, in un periodo segnato dalla dittatura militare brasiliana (1964–1985). Attraverso filmati d’archivio e testimonianze dirette, ripercorre la nascita e il percorso di un gruppo che trovò nel calcio uno spazio di appartenenza, identità e libertà, sfidando i pregiudizi e le discriminazioni dell’epoca. Tra le testimonianze troviamo quella di Volmar Santos, fondatore del gruppo, scomparso nel gennaio 2026, che racconta una storia di coraggio e resistenza che intreccia calcio, identità e lotta contro l’omofobia, riportando alla luce l’esperienza pionieristica di una comunità che ha lasciato un segno nella storia del calcio brasiliano.

This is the story of the fan club founded in the 1970s by Grêmio’s gay supporters, during a period marked by the Brazilian military dictatorship (1964–1985). Through archive footage and first-hand accounts, it traces the origins and journey of a group that found in football a sense of belonging, identity and freedom, defying the prejudices and discrimination of the time. Among the testimonies is that of Volmar Santos, the group’s founder, who passed away in January 2026. He tells a story of courage and resistance that weaves together football, identity and the fight against homophobia, bringing to light the pioneering experience of a community that left its mark on the history of Brazilian football.
