Synopsis

The union between flamenco and elite sport. Everything begins when Anna Tarrés, selector of the Spanish synchronized swimming National team, decides to create a unique and original choreography for the technical duet Andrea Fuentes and Ona Carbonell for the London Olympic Games 2012. After choosing flamenco as the main theme, she gets in touch with Flora Albaicìn, who teaches the only flamenco teaching method recognised by the Spanish State, to decide the music and to the teach the athletes to understand and spread the spirit of this dance. A path looking for the essence of flamenco, with the words of those living for flamenco, those who saw it growing in Spain and with the interviews to the protagonists. Here there are some of those who go with us towards the Olympic podium: José Mercé, Juan de la Plata, César Villegas, Pedro Sierra, Raquel Corral, Mireia Vicente, Juan de Diòs Ramìrez e Manuel Moraga.
