Synopsis
Who doesn’t enjoy following an athlete’s progress at the Olympic Games? Who doesn’t appreciate or get excited by a sporting performance at the highest level of an athlete challenging physical and personal limits? We have all seen the immense effort of the athletes on TV whilst sitting comfortably on a sofa at home. Their technical gestures seem incredible yet fluid and natural, and this is why these athletes are considered champions. How does an athlete become a champion? And how does an athlete become professional before that? In the era of technology and of successes gained by taking shortcuts there are still athletes who work hard every day on the strength of their beliefs. Athletes who want to demonstrate to themselves and the world that they have a natural force inside of them, capable of overcoming any obstacle. And these athletes are the protagonists of the stories told in this series.
