Synopsis:
Due to her early dance training, Wu Yanni faced challenges with a slow start in hurdles. In dance, dancers must keep their toes pointed, while hurdlers need to hook their toes during the race. She tries to overcome personal limitations and psychological barriers, improving her time from 13 seconds to 12.76 seconds, and ultimately earning a spot in China’s women’s track and field team for the Paris Olympics. An insight into the unique aspects of the women’s 100m hurdles with Wu Yanni consistently pushing her limits, setting new milestones for Chinese women’s hurdling on the world stage.
