Synopsis
At the age of 53 years, Martin Strel the Slovenian long distance swimmer, swam through the 5268 km of the Amazon, the most dangerous river in the world, in 66 days. During this unique undertaking he dealt with crocodiles, piranhas and deadly snakes, river swirling, stormy weather, pirates and hostile tribes. An extraordinary venture under the motto “swimming for peace, friendship and clean waters.
