Synopsis
Nationality. Religion. Social class. None of these matters on the pitch. For young boys, it’s all about achieving their dreams. Some will make it. Most won’t. The work analyses the daily ups and downs of the lives of talented young Brazilian players in their pursuit of success. The introverted Danilo who sold brooms on the streets of Brazil, comes to sign a contract at the age of 17 with Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent and is sold to a European club for €4.5 million. Upon turning 18, Carlinhos heads to top German club Bayer 04 Leverkusen but is soon faced with homesickness and loneliness. Through hard work, determination and persistence, Bayern Munich defender Dante reaches the peak of his football career in Europe. Still, for him, there is a big dream to fulfill.
