When Maxim was just two years old, he lost both of his legs in a fire, and his mother gave him up for adoption. Eventually, a married couple decided to adopt the young boy. It wasn’t long before Maxim discovered skateboarding—not only as an effective means of transportation but also as a beloved sport.
