Synopsis:
In early September 2023, Fanpiayi Zeng volunteered as a PE teacher at the Ethnic Central School in Pingbian Yi Nationality Township, Sichuan Province, a small, isolated school deep in the mountains. His students, a group of Yi children with a passion for basketball but no prior game experience, formed a team under his guidance. Just two months later, Coach Zeng led this basketball team out of the mountains to compete in the 2023 Autumn Primary School Sports Meeting in Pingshan County. Despite initial frustrations and curiosity, the children and Coach Zeng supported and encouraged one another, finding joy and growth in the process towards the victory.
