It is the true story of the first African female lacrosse team to make a World Championships. The story of Sharon who is one of the girls selected from rural Western Provence in Kenya from her abusive home where she worked as a maid at the age of seven, to making the national team. In search for her mother, she finds her family in the lacrosse community. The images depict the strength, power and stamina of these young women who face unimaginable adversities: a story of the power of sport and how it can change lives.
