Synopsis
Eight National titles, International achievements and many great players leaded by Vladimir Zábrodský, George Holeček, Jan Havel and Jiri Hrdina make HC Sparta Prague one of the most popular and successful club of the Country. The club was born in 1903 as an hockey division of AC Sparta Prague, but it officially founded in 1909. The colours are blue, yellow and red while the particularity is a big S on the uniform. The first great success arrives after the War with the victory of two national titles in a row (1953 and 1954) under the name Spartak Sokolovo. The next Sparta Prague’s success in the National League will arrive 36 years later.
