Synopsis
Vilda Jakš was the first Czechoslovak boxer to fight for a world title. He was a star of pre-WWII sport who never came to terms with the German occupation of his homeland. In fact he joined the RAF in Great Britain where he served as an air gunner. In 1943 he died in combat over the Atlantic.
