Synopsis
The history of the Korean martial art has more than 2,000 years and dozens of schools. Over time, this art represented the idea of a national and has become a symbol of the spirit of the Nation. Across time this martial art called in different ways: subak, kwondo, tegen and only in 1965 it got its modern name: taekwondo, literally “the way of the foot and the hand”.
