Synopsis
The beauty of the High Tatras is seen, for an entire year, through the eyes of men having a close relationship with these mountains. It starts in the last winter months of 2013; continues through the beautiful Tatras‘ spring, the short but intense summer and the spectacular autumn and it finishes in winter 2015. Each of the main characters perceives this place and its genius loci differently: Kate, Slovak-Canadian outdoor traveler, finds her lost home here, Tatra alpine carrier (Sherpa) Pišta Bačkor is looking for a way to combine a love for the mountains with the economic responsibility of a father and Patrik Kolesár, the head of the Tatra Beauty Association and expert on history of High Tatras is not afraid of daring ideas for the future of the mountains.
