Synopsis
Rocco was a promising boxer but he stopped fighting when an unfair disqualification and the foul play of his opponent cost him the Italian middleweight title. Since then his life slowly fell into a series of failures and disappointments. Now Rocco runs an old gym with his former trusted trainer Marcello, training some boxers, without great expectations to emerge a national level, until he runs into a young Senegalese, Ben. Ben manages to live helping in the cafè where there is Lara, the owner’s young daughter who are threatened by usurers. Just during an argument between the persecutors and the café’s owner, it is immediately clear to Rocco that the boy has natural talent, timing and strength. Rocco decides to take a challenge and take a revenge on life.
