Gela Ketashvili is Georgian’s only Olympic champion, in Soviet Team, in football. Since he was young he had to face different difficulties to conquer the top of the sport’s Olympus. He also had to the play the Olympic final with painkillers because of those injuries that forced him to finish his professional career too early. He celebrated his last birthday via skype because of the Covid pandemic in the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, the stadium where he used to playing during his career as a footballer.
