Synopisis
The Pararoos is an eclectic group of predominantly young footballers, each facing individual challenges but united through their shared experiences. The team is made up of players with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders (stroke and traumatic brain injury, etc). Despite the increasing support of the FFA in recent years, the side continue to face an uphill battle to compete at the highest level. We follow the Pararoos’ journey to the 2017 World Championships in Argentina discovering the players’ personal stories, the importance of the coaching and backup staff and whether despite massive hurdles they can achieve their objective of a top ten ranking.
