Synopsis:

Thirty On is a feature documentary that chronicles the extraordinary journey of Team Skipper in the Race Across America (RAAM), known as the world’s toughest bicycle race. This 3000-mile ultra-cycling event pushes riders and their support crews to the very limits of human endurance. At the heart of the story is Tim Skipper, the team’s charismatic captain, who holds the record for most RAAM crossings at 22 and climbing. His unwavering passion for the sport and dedication to bringing diverse groups together for this life-changing experience form the emotional core of the film. Following Team Skipper’s tried-and-true strategy, each rider takes thirty-minute shifts on the bike in a non-stop relay to the finish line. This approach embodies the film’s central theme that anything is possible when taken one step at a time. An unprecedented look into the physical and emotional challenges of ultra-endurance cycling, while celebrating the unique camaraderie that develops among riders and crew during this “coast-to-coast” odyssey.
