“Un Jour D’ete” (A Summer Day) is the title (provisional) of the film – in production and scheduled for July 2014 in the cinema – on the French cyclist Laurent Fignon, who died on August 31, 2010 after a long fight against cancer.
The project is directed by Fabien Onteniente and the first take of the biopic will be given during the 2012 edition of the Grande Boucle. For the first role the filmmaker wants the actor Lorant Deutsch.
The film will be invited to “Sport Movies & Tv” which will take place in Milan from 3 to 8 December.
