Synopsis:
Polish athlete Janusz Sidło and Norwegian Egil Danielsen are two javelin throwers who set a remarkable duel at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Sidło, while in the lead, decides to help his main rival. This gesture later costs him the gold medal.
