Synopsis
Abroad his nickname was the ‘Czech Locomotive’. Holder of eighteen world records, Emil Zátopek’s greatest glory came at the Olympic Games in Helsinki where he managed to win the 5 km race, 10 km race and the marathon. Thus far, no long-distance runner has been able to equal this feat and athletics aficionados doubt that someone will do so in the future. Emil Zátopek’s magnificent achievement comes to life using recollections of his dear ones, rivals and friends.
