Synopsis

Dina Štěrbová, who in 1984 became the first woman to summit Cho Oyu (8,000 meters), earned her way to the summit despite the prejudice and lack of support at the time. After a devastating earthquake in 2005, she and her colleague Vítězslav Dokoupil founded a nonprofit organization in Baltistan, Pakistan, and built a hospital that has been saving lives for 17 years. A look at her journey, both mountaineering and humanitarian, as she makes her symbolic farewell to the great mountains.
