Synopsis:
A bicycle shed in Changxindian, Beijing, has been transformed into a gym. A dozen elderly people train here every day. Once proud children of their time, these grandparents worked in state-owned factories in their youth, building trains and communications equipment. But in the wave of reform, they were laid off, abandoned like pieces of wood on the shores of time. In this humble shed transformed into a gym, the grandparents seem to have rediscovered their lost youth. While their gym buddies pass away one after another, the uncles have developed their own philosophy of life: live to move, move to live.
