Synopsis:
An idea from Kamchatka sled dog breeders, Andrey and their nine children. For over a decade, their family has taken part in and won the world’s longest dog sled race, the ‘Beringia’. Anya Semashkina is Russia’s youngest dog breeder. Together with the protagonist and her father, we discover the remote villages of Kamchatka’s indigenous people and learn about their traditions. What will a young and fragile girl have to contend with in the cold, endless tundra of Kamchatka, in the peninsula’s most important race?
