Synopsis:
A 55-year-old bodybuilding athlete was forced to stop competing due to family and professional responsibilities. She then moved from Henan to Shanghai, where she opened her own gym. To make up for the regrets of missing competitions, she continues to train every day, while managing the gym and training her athletes. On the fifth anniversary of the gym’s opening, she decides to return to the competition and enters the first bodybuilding competition in 2025. After five years away, she feels an inexhaustible desire to be on stage and repeatedly imagines how she would have to present herself to achieve success. It will be a daunting challenge, as her deteriorating physical function and lack of competitive practice make the outcome extremely uncertain.
