I am absolutely thrilled and proud! The consensus adopted by the United Nations Assembly for the Olympic Truce is a HISTORIC MILESTONE – a moment of pure joy and satisfaction for everyone who has tirelessly worked toward this goal!
The work carried out by FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, which I chair) for the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation has been truly ESSENTIAL! The International Conference “Sport, Peace and the Olympic Truce”, held in Milan on Friday, October 10 as part of “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2025 – 43rd Milano International FICTS Fest”, brought together representatives from 23 Countries and led to the signing of a unanimous Recommendation — a document that will serve as a benchmark for the future of sport and peace worldwide!
