Synopsis
In the 20s Costante Gorardengo represented sport at international level. He was the first matinee idol and made the history of the Italian cycling. Great example of will, humility and shrewdness, he was able to seize the moment, you could learn somenthing watching him biking. He won Giro d’Italia twice, six times the Milano-Sanremo race, three times Giro di Lombardia, everything without rivals and he still holds the record of victories in the Italian championships on road bicycle racing with nine hits. The story of the first great “modern” cyclist as told by those who knew and loved, the emotions that still manages to convey Girardengo the “great champion”.
