Synopsis

35 riders from all over the world meet every year in Portrush, Northern Ireland, to participate at the largest motorcycle spectacle in Northern Ireland, the Northwest 200. The race is one of the fastest in the world, with speeds in excess of 200 mph (320 km/h). It is the largest annual sporting event in Ireland, attracting over 150,000 visitors from all over the world. The film tells the story of three teams during the race week in Portrush, in May 2015: that of  the Saxonian Didier Grams and his teammate Matti Seidel, that of the superstar Michael Rutter, who won the race thirteen times and the Team Saiger with the fastest non-british rider Horst Saiger, for many experts one of the dark horses at this year Northwest 200. An exploration of the inner life of  these heroes who reflect on their greatest fears, their soul full secrets, constraints and their addiction to speed. Extreme weather changes, heavy rain or strong winds challenge the riders to overcome their greatest fears, push them to the limits of their skills.
