A chance encounter in Seattle changes Brian’s life forever and he decides to quit his job and his career and travel the world on a sailboat. After 4 years he buy the boat and his life changes. The dream of Gianmarco, an Italian sailing instructor, was crossing the Atlantic Ocean and in 2019 e made his dream come true. With Tullio Picciolini, ocean sailor and great friend, he crossed the Ocean from Senegal to Guadalupe aboard a 6-meter sport catamaran (not cabin cruiser). Through sailing, the Mirpuri Foundation promotes the environmental sustainability. In the Volvo Ocean Race the team conveyed a strong environmental message dubbed “Tum the Tide on Plastic”.
