Tokio Mao is a former kamikaze pilot who survived to a counter-attack action on the island of Luzon, in the Philippine Sea, in November 1944. Ten years after the end of the war, Tokio Mao moved to Brazil where he worked as a chemical engineer and never left, teaching karate for decades.
