Synopsis
In 1984, between Milan and Ferrara, the women’s movement of American footbal was born, but the last women’s team closed in 1989. In 2011 Valeria Vismara founded the Viking female team. At the same time in Bologna is created a women’s team as part of the team Neptunes. It’s the first step towards the first female Italian football championship, which will be played two years later. On 28 April 2013, the historic day: the first week of the first Italian female football championship. 5 teams: the Furie Cernusco (Valeria Vismara’s team), Tempeste-Sirene Milano-Gorla Minore, Black Marines Ferrara-Roma, Lobsters Pescara and Neptunes Bologna. At the end of the regular season access to the first Rose Bowl, the final, the Furie and the Lobsters. It is played in Ferrara, Saturday, July 6, 2013. Thanks to Valeria Vismara, the circle was about to come to a close 29 years after the first attempt.
