Lipetsk (Russia), city and the administrative center of Lipetsk Oblast, Russia, located on the banks of the Voronezh River in the Don basin, has hosted – with great success – the “11th Atlant International FICTS Festival” organized by Nikolay Porokhovink FICTS Member of International Festival Commission and General Director of the “New Cinematograph Company”.
“This cinema forum is one of the brightest events in the world of sports cinema” – Governor of the Lipetsk Region Oleg Korolev said.
The Festival, included in the FICTS International Circuit, has been organized by the Patronage of the Council of Europe, of the Russian Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Politics, of the Russian Olympic Committee, of the Lipetsk Russian Administration.
The Festival was articulated into Projections of 110 films coming from 30 Countries, Workshops, meetings with the presence of local Institutions, champions of sport, etc. The Guest of Honor of the “Atlant International FICTS Festival” will be Vladimir Petrov a Soviet ice hockey player, two times Olympic Champion (Sapporo 1972, Innsbruck 1976).
