Sport, tv, culture, cinema and communication will be the protagonists, not only on the screen, from 3 to 8 December, to “Sport Movies & Tv 2014 – 32nd Milano International FICTS Fest” worldwide event that will be held in Milano (Italy) inserted in the 14 Festivals of the Worldwide Championship of Cinema and Sport television “World FICTS Challenge” that carried out in the 5 Continents: Barcelona (Spain), Hanoi (Vietnam), Oaxaca (Messico), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Samara (Russia) Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Matera (Italy), Haifa (Israel), Banja Luka (Rep. SRPSKA), Beijing (P. R. of China), Kingston (Jamaica), Kampala (Uganda), Baku (Azerbaijan), Lipetsk (Russia), Liberec (Czech Rep.), Los Angeles (USA), Colombo (Sri Lanka).
“Sport Movies & Tv” is organized by FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 113 Countries) recognized by IOC – International Olympic Committee. The Federation is presided by Prof. Franco Ascani Member of IOC Commission for “Culture and Olympic Education”.
The Festival, that every year assign the “Guirlande d’Honneur” – the highest honour of Federation – to the best productions coming from all over the world – is articulated in Projections, Meeting, Workshops, Exhibitions, Side Events, Press Conferences, Awards.
“Sport Movies & Tv” is characterized by a high sports and organizational quality and the wide International participation (journalists, professionals and industry experts, sport champions) causes a strong media impact, tourism and economic in the region. The sport event is transformed into a valuable tool for promotion of the values of education and training that the sport will be expressed and realized, with a special edition in Milan (duration 18 days) through the project “EXSPORT – Culture through sport”. “Sport Movies & Tv” is a qualified international spot for Milan and its region through media, television broadcasters, networks, new media, production companies, producers, directors, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, sports champions, radio, advertising and communication agencies that illustrate the world of sports through television and film documentaries, commercials, news reports, fiction, cartoons, etc.
The 7 competitive Sections are: Olympic Games (Olympic Spirit – The Olympic Protagonists); 2. Documentary (Individual Sport – Team Sport – Great Champions: Individual Sport /Team Sport); 3. Tv Shows – New Technologies (Sport programs, talk-shows, Sport entertaining, New Media); 4. Sport & Society (Sport Values – Culture and Education); 5. Movies; 6. Sport Adverts (Social/institutional advertising – Commercial advertising); 7. Movies & Tv Football (Movies & Tv Football – Movies & Tv Football – Great Champions).
