Marlene Owens, daughter of Jesse Owens authentic myth of the twentieth century, who won four gold medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, has been invited to the Festival in order to speak – 35 years after his death – about her father’s history told in the film “Race”. Directed by Stephen Hopkins and written by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, the film stars Stephan James as Owens, and co-stars Jason Sudeikis, Jeremy Irons, William Hurt and Carice van Houten.

“SPORT MOVIES & TV 2016” will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of “Dylan Dog” Italian horror comics series featuring an eponymous character (a paranormal investigator) created by Tiziano Sclavi for the publishing house Sergio Bonelli Editore, awarded with the “Excellence Guirlande d’Honneur” to “Exsport Movies & Tv 2015”.
