“BARCELONA INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL” IN SPAIN: FROM 7 TO 10 MAY. DEADLINE SUBMISSION 28 FEBRUARY

The submissions to the fifth edition of “BCN Sports Film 2014 – Barcelona International FICTS Festival” will expire on 28^th February. Barcelona (Spain) will be the seat from 7^th to 10^th May 2014 of the event organized – in the framework of the Worldwide Championship of Cinema, Sport and Television “World FICTS Challenge” – by the “Fundacio Olympic Barcelona” directed by Dr Juli Pernas Lopez (director of Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch) in collaboration with “Nikita Distribution” and with support of FICTS, the Ayuntament de Barcelona Institut Barcelona Esport and the Spanish Olympic Committee.

The BCN Sports Film 2014 is open to all those productions in which the principal subject matter is that of sport in all its forms and disciplines.

Among the film in competition: “Stoichkov” (Camera Ltd – Bulgaria): the passionate life and career of the Bulgarian “Golden Ball” Hristo Stoichkov; “Memórias do chumbo – O futebol nos tempos do condor” (ESPN – Brazil) The plots of brazuilian soccer disclosed by a burning inquiry. “Valetti. Il campione dimenticato” (Associazione Culturale H12 – Italy): revaluating the champion who beat Gino Bartali.
