The President of the Fundación Barcelona Olímpica and Councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Barcelona Dr. David Escudé and the Festival Director Agustí Argelich, have presented to the media the eleventh edition of the “BCN Sports Film – Barcelona International FICTS Festival” scheduled in Barcelona from 18 to 24 January.
The event is organized – as part of the “World FICTS Challenge” Championship of Cinema, Television and Sport Culture – by the “Fundacio Barcelona Olimpica” directed by Dr. Juli Pernas Lopes (Director of the Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch) with the support of FICTS, in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council.
87 videos selected from the 3000 audiovisual productions from 100 Countries that will illustrate the sports scene through documentaries, fiction and animation short films, movies, etc. Young people and bullying, the migration crisis are the big news of this edition.
