The third edition of the “Beausoleil Côte d’Azur Sport Film Festival FICTS” finished with great success: three intense days of screenings and debates dedicated to the diffusion of Olympic and Paralympic values and to the promotion of the importance of sports practice.
The event – included in the International Circuit “World FICTS Challenge” – has been organized by the Comité Départemental Olympique des Alpes-Maritimes (CDOS 06) chaired by Philippe Manassero in collaboration with the Municipality of Beausoleil, represented by the Mayor Gérard Spinelli and the Vice-Mayor and Sports Councilor Gérard De Stefanis and with the support of the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs.
The qualified members of the Jury who decided the winners that will participate in the SPORT MOVIES & TV 2024 World Final in Milan (5-9 November): Bruno Kaufmann, Jean Philippe Lutsyk, Madeleine Bellone and Céline Dervieux. President: Renato Tullio Ferrari FICTS delegate for France.
The FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani joined the Awards Ceremony scheduled on April 18th at the Center culturel Prince Héréditaire Jacques de Monaco.
The Godmother of the event is Victoria Ravva, a former volleyball player with an extraordinary list of achievements. In twenty competitive seasons you won 19 French Championship titles, 18 French Cups, 2 Champions Leagues and 1 Turkish Cup.
The Godfather is Alain Bernard, former Olympic gold swimmer in Beijing 2008 in the 100m freestyle, silver in the 4x100m freestyle and bronze in the 50m freestyle. Gold in London 2012 in the 4x100m freestyle.
