Bleed for this (the official trailer on https://goo.gl/EU7bZq) a 2016 American biographical boxing film written and directed by Ben Younger and based on the life of former world champion boxer Vinny Pazienza. The film stars Miles Teller as Paz, with Aaron Eckhart, Katey Sagal, Ciarán Hinds and Ted Levine in supporting roles.
Vinny “The Pazmanian Devil” Pazienza (Miles Teller), a local Providence boxer, shoots to stardom after winning two world title fights. After a near-fatal car accident leaves him with a broken neck, he is told he may never walk again. Against all odds and doctor’s orders, renowned trainer Kevin Rooney (Aaron Eckhart) agrees to help Vinny return to the ring just a year after the accident for what could be the last fight of his life.
The FICTS Executive Committee decided to award with the Honorary “Excellence Guirlande d’Honneur” the executive producer of the film Martin Scorsese. The film has been invited to “Sport Movies & Tv 2017” scheduled in Milano from 15 to 20 November.
