The Auditorium Testori of Palazzo Lombardia, crowd into every seat, hosted the “Award Ceremony” of “EXSPORT MOVIES & TV 2015 – 33rd MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST” worldwide event of Television, Cinema, Communication and Sport Culture organized during the period of Universal Exhibition EXPO 2015 (that gave its patronage to the event) of International Circuit of “World FICTS Challenge 2015”.

Palazzo Lombardia hosted the “Award Ceremony” of “EXSPORT MOVIES & TV 2015″

The Festival is organized by FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (presided by Prof. Franco Ascani Member of IOC Commission for “Culture and Olympic Heritage”) recognized by International Olympic Committee for which promotes the sports values through the images in 113 Members Countries.

During the Ceremony, where attended sports champions and Institutional authorities, Claudia Bugno General Coordinator of the Rome 2024 Olympic Bid delivered the “FICTS Golden Card” to  the Member of the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee and President of International Boxing Association (AIBA) Dr. Ching Kuo Wu who became “FICTS Honorary Member”.

The President of the International Association of Olympic Journalists Dr. Alain Lunzenfichter awarded FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani who has been inserted in the “Hall of Fame” of the Association with prestigious acknowledgement.



Awad Bin Mohammed Bin Sheikh Mujrin (Director General of Dubai Travelers Festival) that in December 2014 climbed Kilimanjaro with camels to plant on top of the flag of the United Arab Emirates (feat never attempted before, eight days and told in the documentary “Kilimanjaro by Camel”) was awarded with the “FICTS Excellence Guirlande d’Honneur”.

The Award “Opera Prima – Enrica Speroni” has been delivered to Gianluca Luciano (on stage together with Roberto Villa President of Audio Vision Communication Group) director of the film “Cavalli in carcere” (Gianluca Luciano – Italy) work on the rehabilitation of prisoners of the home district of Bollate (Milano) in society through the horses.

The “Candido Cannavò Award for the Olympic Spirit”, dedicated to the “historical” Director of the newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport” has been assigned to the production “Spirit in Motion” (Studio Ostrov, Prod. VGIK Center Debut – Russia): the official film the 2014 Sochi Paralympic Games. Alessandro Cannavò gave the award to the director Sofia Geveyler.

The other “Special Awards” were gave to: “Junior” (Lionheart Productions – Belgium) who received the “Bruno Beneck Critics Award”: fighting for your own family. “The coach and the barefoot runner” (SVT Sweden Television – Sweden) was awarded with the “WCPMedia Services Award“: Abebe Bikila and Onni Niskanen, a story about triumph and tragedy, unlikely friendship and of great humanitarian work. “Wales through the eyes of Petr Voldán: kingdom of oval-shaped ball” (Czech Television – Czech Republic) was awarded with the “EXPO 2015 Award”: the place where rugby is king and where the star of rugby gather, the National Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. The “Gentleman Fair Play”, delivered by the founder Dr. Gianfranco Fasan, was awarded to “Otherwise Invincible” (Associazione Mediacreative – Italy) directed by Donatella Cervi: A story of hope, a boy who overcomes barriers in his diversity, with the rapprochement to the sport; a true story and the story of his disability, with the rapprochement to the sport and in particular to swimming. “Saturday” (Magnified Pictures Ltd. – UK) directed by Mike Forshaw was awarded with the “Infront Award”: Hillsborough disaster seen through a children’s eyes.

During the Ceremony attended  97 producers and directors coming from 5 Continents.
