FICTS COME BACK TO DOHA WITH “QATAR SPORTS FILM FESTIVAL”: 24 – 25 MAY IN DOHA

FICTS comes back to Qatar, Doha, where, in 2010, presented an original exhibition “FICTS is culture through sport” about the promotion of the sports-cultural values with 600 memorabilia, 100 posters of the 100 years of sports cinema and the best images of “Cinema and Sport” of the main sports discipline (basketball, boxing, soccer, etc.) at the “Aspire4Sport”.

Doha will host, on 24^th and 25^th May, the “Qatar Sports Film Festival (QSFF)” new entry in the “World FICTS Challenge 2013” the Worldwide Championship of Cinema and Sport Television. The Festival is organised by “The Youth Company” in collaboration with “Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum” headed by Christian Wacker. International shorts (10 minutes length) which have as theme traditional sports, extreme and water sports, great sports events and Olympic Games will compete in the “QSFF”. The best 10 films in the completion will be awarded on 25th May at the “Alriwaq Doha Exhibition Space” and will participate to “Sport Movies & Tv 2013” in Milan.
