The Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno|Dolomiti (President Dr. Mario Pozza) on September 16, 2022, hosted the FICTS General Assembly, attended by representatives from the 130 Countries affiliated to the Federation.
THe President Prof. Franco Ascani illustrated the “Report” to the Board of Directors and to the Members of the FICTS International Commissions, with the aims of the Federation and action lines on the 2023-2026 organizational and political plan.
The President has illustrated the International Project “GenerAZIONE2026-Sport powered by Youth and education” realized by the FICTS – Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno | Dolomiti with the Veneto Region (Department of Education) and the Regional School Direction for Veneto.
The International Project – which actively involved 40,577 young people (of which 31,135 in Milan) from 73 schools with screenings, physical and training activities, etc. – is the first step of a three-year project, the approach march towards the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Each organizer had showed the Festivals of the International Circuit “World FICTS Challenge 2023”. The FICTS is working to also organize a Festival in USA in Fort Myers (Florida) thanks to the collaboration of Dr Thomas J. Rosandich, USSA President and Member of FICTS Commission and in Nepal in collaboration with the Nepal Olympic Committee.
The Official Calendar – after the approval of the Executive Committee and the opinion of the competent Commission – will be approved in Milan on 10 November in the framework of “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2022”.
