FICTS President Prof. Ascani in Athens: “Sport for All without limit of age”

FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs in the within of the “Memorandum of Understanding” with UESPT – European Sport for All Federation, is a partner of the “World Senior Games 2017” (https://www.worldseniorgames.org/), multi-sport event (15 sport disciplines including tennis, golf, cycling, archery, swimming, etc.) for over 50 participants, scheduled in the municipalities of Vari-Voula- Vouliagmeni (Greece) from June 9^th to 11^th.

The FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani, in capacity as President of UESpT as well as Member of IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Heritage, will attend the International Congress “Sports, Health, Wellbeing: the Challenges and Perspectives” (divided into three sessions) with a report on topic “Promoting actions for developing sports for all programs”. The topics covered will be the integrity and fair play as key elements of the life of the athletes at all levels and the study of psycho-social factors that lead to deviations in the sports world, etc. Prof. Bill Baltzopoulos, Director of the Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences at John Moores University, Liverpool, Stephen Studd of the EOSE – European Observatoire of Sport And Employment will be the speakers in the congress.

The International Congress is organized by the UESPT – European Sport for All Federation and the City of Vari -Voula-Vouliagmeni under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sport, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Attic Region.
