FICTS PRESIDENT PROF. FRANCO ASCANI AT “QATAR SPORTS FILM FESTIVAL” IN DOHA ON 24-25 MAY

FICTS – Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs with a delegation led by President Prof. Franco Ascani in his capacity as Member of IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Education, will attend in Doha, Qatar, on 24-25 May at the “Qatar Sports Film Festival (QSFF)” (http://www.qsff.org) new entry in the worldwide Championship of Cinema and Sport Television “World FICTS Challenge 2013”.  The core part of “QSFF” is a short film contest, which aims to create platform for filmmakers and sports fanatics to share their passions, and promote the art of screenwriting and film making in the world of sports and the Olympics.

The best 10 films in the competition will be awarded on 25^th May at the “Alriwaq Doha Exhibition Space” and will participate to “Sport Movies & Tv 2013” in Milano from 4 to 8 December. The Festival is organized by “The Youth Company” in collaboration with “Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum” a Department of “Qatar Museums Authority” that will be part of the “Olympic Museum Network” of the International Olympic Committee. The Press Conference is scheduled for 22 May.
