“GUIRLANDE D’HONNEUR” FOR SYLVESTER STALLONE AND FOR BOXING TO "SPORT MOVIES & TV"

Two arts in comparison to “Sport Movies & Tv 2016”: Cinema (the seventh) and Boxing (noble art of fighting). The FICTS Executive Committee has decided to award with the “Excellence Guirlande d’Honneur” Sylvester Stallone, actor, director and film producer. Recent winner of the “Golden Globe” for “Best Supporting Actor” in “Creed”, Stallone is celebrating two special anniversaries: 70 years and 40 years after (1976) the first film of the saga “Rocky” (winner of 3 “Oscar”) through which he has been inserted in the “International Boxing Hall of Fame”.

Also on the occasion of the celebrations for the centenary of the Italian Boxing Federation will be present Mr Ching-Kuo Wu EB IOC Member and President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA).
