FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (recognised by the International Olympic Committee for which it promotes the sports values through images in the 113 Member Countries in 5 Continents) Delegation guided by the President Prof. Franco Ascani Member of IOC Commission for “Culture and Olympic Heritage” will be in Kazan (Tatarstan Repubblic – Russia) at the FINA World Championships 2015 which starts on Friday 24th July.
The capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, defined as “The Russia Sports Capital” (it was, among the others, the seat of the Universiade 2013, the Fencing World Championship 2014,etc.), will host from 5th to 10th August, in conjunction with World Swimming Championships the “KAZAN WORLDWIDE FINAL OF WORLD FICTS CHALLENGE 2015”, the Worldwide Final of 16 Festivals organized by the Ministry of Sport and Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan in collaboration and under the aegis of FICTS.
On August 5th, 2015, one year before Rio 2016 Olympic Games, it is scheduled the Meeting “1 Year to go to the XXXI 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games” where will participate, together with Prof. Franco Ascani and some representatives of the Brazilian Olympic Committee: Ching-Kuo Wu IOC EB Member, V. President of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations, President of International Boxing Association (AIBA), Francesco Ricci Bitti President of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) and of the International Tennis Federation, Alexander Zhukov President of the Russian Olympic Committee and IOC Member, Yvan De Navacelle De Coubertin International Pierre de Coubertin Committee President, Shamil Tarpischev IOC Member, Russian Tennis Federation President, Alicia Massoni De Morea V. President of Argentine Olympic Committee, Donna De Varona (Olympic gold medalist in Tokyo 1964), Member of “Women and Sport” IOC Commission. During the Meeting, at the FINA Water World Park (Cultural place of the Championship give the guest moments of entertainment and cultural programme), the Official videos of the Rios 2016 Olympic Games will be presented.
On 6th August, at the “Hermitage Concert Hall”, will take place the “Opening Ceremony” of “Kazan Worldwide Final of World FICTS Challenge 2015” to which will attend, beyond the Military, Civil and Institutional Authorities, qualified guests of the cinema, sports, and journalism world, the President of Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The “3D Port” Cinema will be the “Core Business” of the Festival articulated in 100 Projections (40 sport disciplines coming from 31 Countries), 3 Meetings, 4 Exhibitions 5 Side Events, 2 Workshops and 7 Awards of Olympic champions, prestigious international guests of television, sports and cinema and the participation of the main International television networks. The “Awarding Ceremony” is scheduled on 9th August.
