Television dedicated day on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18 at “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2017 – 35TH MILAN INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST” (entrance by Invitation. Aaccreditation available at link https://www.sportmoviestv.net/en/registration-form/), Final of the “World FICTS Challenge” Worldwide Championship of Cinema, Television and Sport Culture: concluding event of the “TV SPORT EMOTIONS” Program launched by the FICTS – Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs among the 1,725 TV sports channels of all the world.

At 3.00 pm at Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan (Piazza Mercanti 2 – corner Piazza Duomo), the meeting “RUSSIAN OLYMPIC SPORTS, INDUSTRY AND BROADCASTING: PROBLEMS, EVOLUTION, FUTURE” is scheduled in collaboration with the Russian TV channel “Match TV” with Qualified Speakers: Franco B. Ascani, President of FICTS and Member of IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Heritage, Francesco Ricci Bitti, President of ASOIF and vice-Director of Olympic Channel, Tina Kandelaki, Russian film producer and conductor, Alina Kabaeva, ex-gymnasium (gold Athens 2004), Russian parliamentarian and model, Alan Lunzenfichter, International President of the Association of Olympic Journalists, Vjaceslav Fetisov, former ice hockey player and former Minister of Sports of Russia, Giovanni Contri, WCP Media Services and Takuko Kigaku of NHK Japan Broadcasting Corporation.

Following the “TV Sport Emotion Award”, awarded annually by FICTS, at the Best Television Channel voted on www.sportmoviestv.com, on the occasion of the “World Sport Television Day”. The day will continue with the “One to One” meeting, which will be attended by producers, post-producers, commissioning editors, distributors, festival directors and programmers and national film commission delegates.

At the 6.30 pm, screening of “THE LORD OF MILAN”, documentary on Herbert Kilpin, a young textile worker from Nottingham, who founded the Milan Football & Cricket Club (AC Milan).

Among the 33 screenings scheduled: at 3.50 pm in Sala Colonne, “IRREGOLARI – SPECIALE FEDERICA PELLEGRINI” (Swimming, RAI Radiotelevisione italiana, ITALY – 2017, 94 min), on the highs and lows of the “Divine” Federica Pellegrini; “THE DANCER, ROCCO’S DREAM – IL CORAGGIO DI VINCERE” (Boxing, Red Film Srl, ITALY – 2017, 98 min), scheduled at 5.00 pm in Sala Terrazzo, the story of a young boy and his talent, to recover a rematch about life; at 6.30 pm in Sala Parlamentino, “GIANNI BRERA – IL LIBERO DELLA BASSA”  (Various Sports, RAI Radiotelevisione italiana, ITALY – 2016, 49 min), the story of the journalist, writer and inventor of football neologisms; “DA CLAY AD ALI. LA METAMORFOSI” (Boxing, 3D Productions SRL, ITALY – 2016, 68 min) scheduled at 8.40 pm in Sala Colonne, the story and the revolution of one of the greatest boxers of all time.
