The work “NADIA COMANECI, THE GIMNAST AND THE DICTATOR” (France), of Pola Rapaport, will be screened at “SPORT MOVIES & TV – 35th MILAN INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST”, which will take place from 15 to 20 November 2017 in Piazza Mercanti 2 Milan (Italy).

This is the Final of 16 Festivals (in the 5 Continents),  of the World FICTS Challenge,  the Cinema Culture and Sports Communication World Championship.

 

The documentary tells the story of the Romanian gymnast Nadia Comaneci, who at age 14 obtained the first 10 ever awarded in the history of the Olympic Games (Montreal 1976). She continued the sport career and at the same time was a victim of the Ceausescu dictatorship. At the end, in 1989, she left Romania to continue her career.
