New date for the FICTS Festival in Kampala (Uganda): September 12 – 14

The FICTS Executive Committee has authorized the change of the 11^th edition of the “Kampala International FICTS Festival” that will be held in Uganda on September 12^th – 14^th, 2017, following the request of the Organizing Committee chaired by Mr Dean Kibirige. The African continent has come to great lengths, including through this event dedicated to cinema and sports television, to the diffusion of cultural and sporting values ​​underlying the FICTS statute. The Festival is organized by FICTS in collaboration with UBC – Uganda Broadcasting Corporation and the National Council of Sports. Projections and meetings will take place at the “Sea Scallop” venue. The winners of each section will take part in the Final “Sport Movies & Tv 2017” scheduled in Milan (Italy) from November 15^th to 20^th. A special moment will be dedicated to the memory of Dr. Andrew Luwandagga, founder of the Kampala Festival.
