“Exsport Movies & Tv 2015 – 33rd Milan International FICTS Festival” (27 October – 1 November), organized by the FICTS-Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (chaired by Prof. Franco Ascani, member of the commission “Olympic culture and heritage” of the IOC) recognized by the International Olympic Committee for which promotes the values of sport through images in 113 Member countries, celebrates the latest edition of the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 and the next to be held in Rio de Janeiro 2016. Friday, October 23 at 11 will be show a preview of the first ten minutes of “Rings of the World”, the official Films of the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 while is projected Saturday 31 October at 18.00 at the Ballroom of Palazzo Cusani (Via Brera, 15-Milan) the screening of “Spirit in Motion”, the official Film of the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games , where the strongest athletes from different parts of the world are fighting for a chance to get to Sochi and win the most precious medal.
In 2016, FICTS will be present at Rio de Janeiro, home of the next Olympic Games, with “Cinefoot-International Football Film Festival” (www.cinefoot.org), an itinerant event -now in its seventh edition- dedicated exclusively to soccer audiovisual, directed by Antonio Leal and organized by “Cultural and Conexao Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos de Audiovisuais Festivals” (IBEFEST), and with the “2016 Sports Memories” Exhibition, the largest collection of sports memorabilia for Rio 2016 organized by José Joaquim Soares from 27 July to September 25, 2016. Will be dedicated in tribute to the first edition of the Olympic Games in South America during the opening ceremony of the Festival (28 October at 18pm, Palazzo Cusani) with the projection of images of the Olympic Games in London 2012, Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016.
