Tuesday, February 22 in Beausoleil, press conference for the launch of the “Beausoleil Côte d’Azur Sportfilm FICTS Festival” organized by the CDOS 06 in collaboration with the city of Beausoleil in the framework of the “World FICTS Challenge 2022”.
At the press Conference were present: the Mayor, V. President of the CARF, Gérard Spinelli, the President of CDOS 06, Philippe Manassero, the Delegate for France of the FICTS – Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, Renato Tulio Ferrari, Mayor and Councillor of sport M. Gérard Destafanis and the President of the Jury, Bernard Maccario. The Festival will take place from May 10 to 12, 2022 at the Cultural Center Hereditary Prince Jacques of Monaco.
During the “Opening Ceremony” (May 10) will be the presentation of the film “Race – The color of victory” on the epic of Jesse Owens during the Olympic Games Berlin 1936 with the presence of producer Luc Dayan.
On May 11 the award-winning films will be presented to children and seniors while on May 12 will be held the “Closing Ceremony” with the award to the winners that will be in competitionj in the Final in “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2022” in Milan from November 9-13.
The organizers also presented the Festival’s godmother Céline Bousrez, Paralympic bronze medalist in Tokyo 2020 in para-triathlon as a guide for the blind Annouck Curzillat and a very high level sponsor with Marc Raquil, world champion in the 4 X 400 m (2003) in athletics.
The Festival with the Cdos 06 will also spread the good words of the values of Olympism in schools and colleges in Beausoleil but also throughout the Alpes-Maritimes.
